The Secret World of Arrietty

Another movie I've just watch. ANOTHER FILM FROM STUDIO GHIBLI!!!!!
Arrietty (titled The Borrower Arrietty (借りぐらしのアリエッティ Kari-gurashi no Arietti?) in Japan and The Secret World of Arrietty in North America) is a 2010 Japanese animated fantasy film directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi, written by Hayao Miyazaki and Keiko Niwa and produced by Studio Ghibli, based on Mary Norton's novel The Borrowers. I always love Studio Ghibli's work. Look at their art



As I watch along, it felt like I was there. Just beside them, watching & listening.

 Either we're here too early or it is due to the festival season. Everyone taking a week off.

To be honest, it'll be very bored if you come alone. Other then nice view and smelly poo smell in the air. Nothing very attracting here.
If you felt happy coming here, it's not because of the place but because of the company you have with you.

I felt happy ^^
wonder what is my next chapter will be.......life is a long journey. Live life to the fullest.

Desa - Part 2

Professional photographer having a bad hair day. hahahaha

 You know why you look as if you jump so high? Coz i'm a good photographer. I took from bottom up.

yaaaaa!!!! photographer......i gave up....it's tiring jumping up and down and you can't get a good shoot of me

*roll eyes* blame it on the person who hold the camera....
or it is just the candid fault.

p/s: as my cousin mention, I've leave out the cow poo poo smell. hahaha. The air isn't as fresh as you imagine.

Desa - Part 1

Welcome to Malaysia's New Zealand

Green green glass spread across the horizon. Cold wind touching gently through the earth.

I can't find any words to describe this.
Suddenly, I've forgotten that I am in Malaysia.

Don't we look like that we're in oversea? Cool sunny day.
Waiting to be greeted by some handsome ang mo. ahahahaha

Kundasang - Kiram's Village end

Above picture was taken after we ate our first round of steamboat.
Before night fall, we went for a walk and enjoy the view and breeze.
The wind were so strong that I felt like I was back in Taiwan once more.

After the brief walk, we head on with our supper. We heard karaoke from that building. Other guest here organize a night of karaoke session and all the song was in the late 70s or 80s

While listening to oldies, we enjoy the chill of night, enjoy the sensation of the cold air.....

Funny part is, when an auntie sing a series of Teresa Teng's song. Allison start to ask me, what does the lyric mean. So I just explain in my own way
A: "What does 路边的野花不要采mean"
me:"bla bla bla...don't 搞上别的女人"
hahaha......ops....I forgot we got an auntie here. But she is quite sporting or she just think I'm a rude girl.
oh well......hehehe.

After getting bored playing guess and explaining Teresa Teng's song........
We played another game till it's almost 10pm, we head off to bed to welcome the next sun rise.

Our breakfast......vegetarian udon mee.

I never been so full by just eating vegetable. 

As the flower bloom, it's time for us to pack up and leave the mountain.

Time to adjust our luggage and head off to our next destiny.

Kundasang - Kiram's Village Part 3

 One of the room at Kiram's Village. they have Chili, Cabbage, etc....name of rooms here. So kawaii.

 The view of balcony. It's just a simple room with a double bed and single bed in it. We have to request another two mattress with extra charges.
They don't have fancy bath room. Even the water heater not functioning that well. It make us jump up and down when having a bath. Cold water from the mountain.......go figure.......cold like ais.

Simple life with simple activity.

We stroll along Kiram's Village to snap some pictures. I love the view of Mount Kinabalu.
It's so.....majestic

After photo session. It's time to prepare our dinner.
Yeap, all that belong to Allison's auntie except that wooden shoe rack. It's the property of Kiram's Village.

aaahhhhhhhhhhh.......can you imagine having a bowl of hot soup in this cold weather?

Now I know why oversea people love to eat steamboat.

Kundasang - Kiram's Village Part 2

 We stop by the road side market to buy some food for our dinner

 Since Allison and her relative are vegetarian, we bought only vege.

 I don't mind being Vegetarian for a day or two. It's good to clean up my digestive system.

Spotted this little creature in our vege.
 

Welcome to Kiram's Village.
Initially we thought only 3 of us will be coming here. Who know last minute join by another 3 girls.
And we call almost all the homestay at Kundasang area to try to get a bigger room maybe a cottage all to ourselves and all of them were fully booked.
Imagine the crowd.

End up, we stick to our one and only booking. Small little room at Kiram's Village.
this doesn't look like Malaysia isn't it.
Have I not tell you where I am, would you have guess where I am?

Hidden photographer.

This is a place were you do nothing. Serious........nothing to do here.
No internet, no TV.
Even my digi 3G sucks.......

So it force you to blend in with Mother Nature. Spend time with 'her' and breath in the fresh air given.
Relax the mind and body

 Dreams, that's where I want to go.

 and that's where I dream of going.

It's so lucky to have Allison's auntie coming along with us. It make all of us feel safe.

Yeap, we're on our way to the Mountain. Kundasang to be exact.
It's also the one and only way to Tawau.
It's sad how under develop for Sabah. Government should look into improving the road condition.

Another photographer acting cute....I never seen such.....I can't find a word for it....LOL

Only this lady sleep like pig.... :P
okok....all of us sleep like pig.......everyone was tired

Gayana Resort end

It's around 12pm now. Waiting for our ride back to Jesselton Point.

I don't really like how the sea water done to my hair.
It all tangle up. I felt so salty.

Saw this. Cool or not?

It so happen that they bring some people over to visit Gayana.....go figure....... :P

Handsome or not. My bf say, sure a lot of les will fall for her....hehehe
