Baking weekend

I've been busy.....baking ^^
Seem like my female colleagues are very 'hot' in doing baking.....
so i too wanna join the fun~~~

This is the second time I attempt on baking the Vanilla Cheese Cake
for full ingredient.....you can refer to my colleague's blog.

Mix 250g cream cheese and 3 egg yolks until smooth....you really need to make sure the cheese is beaten until smooth.......but don't beat too long cause the cheese will turn out too watery.

Slowly mix in 150ml fresh milk

and then add in 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence

In another clean mixing bowl, whisk 3 egg whites and 80g caster sugar at high speed until solf peak is formed. you can add a bit more caster sugar if you like SWEET

tada~~~ i think i should have beat it more~~ you will know why at the end

lastly Mix into cream cheese mixture in 3 batches.
Pour cream cheese mixture onto the lined cake mold and into the oven.......

Steam-bake the cheesecake in preheated oven at 200 degree celcius for 15 minutes or until the surface is slightly brown. Reduce the heat to 150 degree celcius and bake for another 50 minutes or until cooked. Turn off oven and let the cake cool in oven with door ajar for 1 hour.
Chill cheesecake in the fridges for 4 hours.
- See, the cake is not 'tall' right? i think it's the egg white part......but nevertheless, my family say it tasted better then last time and it's smoother.

2nd cake....
For ingredient...please refer here.

Orange Yogurt Cheese Cake.
this cake is almost the same as the above...just that this have cookies base

Mix soda cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into a lined 7" round cake molt.
Instead of soda cracker, I used Tiger marie biscuits. It taste way nicer.

The different here is you add in orange lassi with cream cheese and beat until smoot.
the rest is almost the same as above cake

see.....same look right? well, my family like it.....
consider success la~~~ hehehehe
if only i got chance to go to Brunei to buy those New Zealand cheese and fresh milk...i'm sure it will taste way better.......
oh well...no more baking in anytime soon......i'm tired........lol
