Admission Fee: RM1 for adult.
"Divided into galleries dedicated to Penang's historical communities, as well as particular historical events that took place in Penang, the museum houses a fine collection of old photographs, maps, historical documents, Chinese furniture, embroidery, costumes and other historical relics."
One thing that impress me in the gallery art is painting done by Captain Robert Smith. It look so real....i don't mean it in 3D but it felt like the painting is moving. I didn't took any picture of it cause it won't look as good as the real painting itself.
Francis Light sound familiar to you? Study back your history
Another historical visitor attraction. You need to pay to go in...AND...you can't just go in by yourself. It had 3 separate session where you will be guided by the person in-charge to go into the house. You can't wander around all by yourself.
**Daily guided heritage tours of the house ( in English ) : 11am / 1.30pm / 3pm
Admission fee RM 12.00 per person
Both of us not really into architecture and history of a dead guy who build his house for his wifes and sons. So we went on to search for more tourist attraction.
We walk, we ask around, we use GPS, we see map......and..........finally
We reach Lebuh Armenian. It's not easy to find if you are not familiar with Georgetown area.
I have to queue up just to take picture with them.
Here's another wall painting. It's not the same street with the bicycle kids. But it's not far. There are few more painting like this which advice to use transport to go there instead of walking.
More and more walking around Georgetown area. Many hidden clan's temple.
