Wat

A Wat is a monastery temple in Thailand

I forgot the name but it's a small Wat. Not worth the price to come here.

Unless you are a photographer........The building details are breath taking.

Monk who live here.

The statue

Believer donate an amount of money and a packet of golden sheet will be given to paste on the statue.

Due to my colorblind.....I didn't notice the fish up until my mom shouted "WOW........SO MANY FISH~~~"

I was like......where? I can't see them

Until we feed them with THB1 of fish food. WOW........look at the quantity of the fish there. I bet there are at least a thousand of it in there.

People feed the fish but my mom feed the pigeon instead.

And I found this cutie under the chair.....the owner pull it out just to let me take a picture with it.
And the dog don't even bother to wake up no matter how we disturb it.

Damnoensaduak Floating Market

After visiting coconut farm. We continue our journey......

More souvenir to buy.

But the price is sky high here.....if you must buy......ask at least 50% discount......then work your way up.

Many store along the river. 看到眼花缭乱

Finally we arrive at the site where the drama City hunter took place.

Quite traffic jam

I saw something I love to try - Coconut ice cream. Read a lot of post saying one of the must try food in Thailand is their coconut ice cream.

And they are right. I really love the slight fragrance coconut smell, slight sweetness in it.

Also, mango sticky rice. 芒果耨米饭.

I couldn't resist my self..........so ended up, I bought this~~ She ask for THB500. I said THB 250. But no~~ THB 400. I tell her THB 300 last..........and DEAL~~~

This area is quite big actually....we did ask the boat driver if we can't go onshore. But he said he is not allowed to stop here.....

Coconut Sugar Farm

My mom told me.....people feed this plant to the pig.

Normally if I see this kind of toilet in Malaysia, I won't go near it. Always no water to flash. But here, it is so clean~~~

It's a small shop for tourist to walk around

Mostly trying to persuade you to buy their product. This is how they make the coconut sugar.
There are a lot of bees attract to this area. The coconut juice is boiling hot but the bees just love it.....

They even give out free sample to taste - Coconut sugar.
Really tasty~~~

If you don't want to buy coconut sugar. You can always consider to buy souvenir

Damnoensaduak Floating Market - on the way to Coconut sugar farm

Upon arrival we are greeted with young coconut drinks....and it is FOC. My mom love it. It taste sweet and a bit of panda flavour in it. If you want another one, you can request and it is FREE........

We been brief on the route that will be taken. Surprisingly the tauke of this station is own by a Swedish. We took the package of visiting coconut farm - floating market - Wat, which will take approximately 2 hours ride cost THB1000 per person.

This is our ride. Quite scary when trying to get in.

It's like riding in long boat.

Their use modified engineer to steer the boat. Vroommmm vroommmm.......小心水点打到你的脸。

It's a new experience for me seeing houses just beside the river.

Seeing resident doing their normal chores, poring used water into the river....

Kedai runcit

神台

Arrive at coconut sugar farm port.

Climbing out of the boat is scary too. Imagined that the boat will flip anytime.........

on the way to Damnoensaduak Floating Market

It's 7.30am in the morning.
We book a personal tour guide from the airport which cost us THB2500

The driver is a friendly middle age family man but with limited English vocabulary. I do understand what he trying to say but my dad admit that he can't understand some of his talking.

He call himself Jack. He did some explaining and introducing to us on the scenery. Like this is the longest river in Bangkok approximate 350km long....

While on the way to the floating market, we stop by at a rest station for a quick breakfast

I don't like Malaysia rest stop food but in Bangkok, I love it.

Their dishes might seem like fast food but the taste and freshness is guaranteed.

century egg fried with meat + cilly padi + curry leaves. Very spicy. Spicy lover will love it a lot

My dad love the food here.

Especially their tom yang. Surprisingly Thailand tom yang is more to sweetness + peanut.

We continue our journey after a belly full breakfast. On the way we pass by sea salt farm.

I don't know where the sea water come from. There's no sea to be seen. But there are a lot of sea salt farm in this area.

After an hour plus drive, finally we are almost there.

An Evening at Pratunam

It's about 5pm now....time to hunt for dinner. I did do some reach online places for food. But~~~ it's not easy to find. I even google map but it seem so far.

So we just walk and walk until we arrive at Platinum Fashion Mall.

You will be amazed of the inside.

Hustle and bustle of the big city.

Ladies will go crazy when arrive inside of the mall........
so many shop full with clothes, accessories, shoes.........etc. It's more then KL.

The food court is located at 6th floor if not mistaken. The food here is not bad. Most importantly it is hygienic to my parent.

One of the shop selling accessories thingy......so blink inside that I almost gone blind.
Did you notice left and right person holding a big bag? They are the wholesale buyers. Come to buy in big amount of quantity to sell at their own shop.
Platinum is wholesale area. Yeap.....If you want to shop, just stay at Platinum. It is the ideal location.

By night time around 7pm, the shopping mall begin to close up. Little little store start to open up at the street.
